Rands family photos

3 out of four!!!!

so I found three out of the four Rands houses I went to , no one was in in one of them......
got them to say hi, their name and name the other Rands they knew...
I was quite surprised that they were willing to do it!
the first one, she was an art teacher..

the secong one wasnt in,

the third one, oh my god! is my facebook buddy!!! can you believe it! Rich Rands the one who used to work for LCC, but he didnt actually say anything about meeting me one Facebook, when i got home there was a message waiting for me, saying how nice it was to meet me, i messaged him back asking him why he didnt say anything and he said he was in shock, which i can understand and that he was in the middle of his dinner of fahitas. And he later told me he was seeing his family this weekend so could film them for me! what a nice chap!

fourth Rands was in his pjamas but still up for being recorded...

ive decided to collect together my filming, any films i mite get sent from Rands, some Rands You Tube videos, and maybe some good photos and make a short film!!!

Knock Knock......

Today Im going on a Rands Hunt...
Ive selected 4 addresses which are nearest and easiest to get to in london, from the online phone book and im going to find them........
Isleworth
Richmond
and there are 2 Rands on the same road near Southfields! wow!
I plan to knock on their door, find out if their name is Rands, then ask them if I can film them talking a bit about themselves........ not sure how well its gonna go down, but we'll see....
need to work out what to ask them......

Letters....

Ive found loads of Rands in the online phonebook, so im going to send some of them little letters explaining who I am and what and that im trying to find as many Rands out there as possible.... Enclosed in my letter is a blank stamped addressed postcard which I have asked them to return to me as soon as possible, telling me about themselves and even decorating the front of the blank postcard.
This is again risky like the facebook films, but ive got another plan aswell so I thought i mite aswell test this one out.....
Ive sent them to...Liverpool, Newquay, 2x Manchester, Stockport and Maidstone.. I picked them out at random.
So while im waiting....
the next plan.......

Ive got loads of research and have found some funny and interesting stuff but I dunno what to do with it.... ihat eit when this happens.
Ive got about 3 Rands saying they will make short films for me but i cant count on them.....

Rich Rands....

became facebook buddies with Rich Rands today, and he is thinking about making a lil film about himself for me!!!
My first reply! the others have been ignoring me!
And he used to work at LCC, whilst inbetween jobs he worked there doing admissions and enrolements, now he has a full time job working for a charity called Sense, they have their first TV campaign coming out in 2 weeks on channel 4.
Charity is for deafblindness (if ive looked up the right one).

when looking through all the family photos I found, I came across alot of photos of cars.
My dad used to do Rally driving, and loves cars....
I also found loads of slides, and these slide sized photos......

my family tree.... a bit of it...

well none of my Rands are co-operating, not sending me family trees........ so I started to look into my own family...
Apparently my dads dad has a proper family tree so im on the case to get that, he lives in Wales so it could be a while.
So ive been putting a basic one together myself...
ive also found loads of old family photos..

One of my new Rands friends is having twins!
she just announced it!

Her name is Tanya Northover-Rands. so i spose she not really 100% Rands!
This isnt actually a photo of her twins but this is what they look like at 10 weeks.
